Hello!
We here at Slickdeals are constantly striving to offer the best shopping experience for our community. To that end, many of you may know that our Moderators and Quality Assurance folks vet the authenticity of our most popular deals, so you can cut down on clutter and get to the slickest deals.
New Policy:
Third party merchants from Newegg will now need to have at least 500 seller ratings.
DEs and Slickdeals Staff have the discretion to post deals from sellers with lower rating. This will only happen after they have thoroughly vetted the merchant. Moving forward once they have been posted by the DEs or SD Staff then we know they have been vetted and members are free to post them as well. If a merchant is large enough/well known, mods have the discretion to allow it.
How To Locate The Seller Ratings:
On the right side of the page, above the price of the item, it will say "Shipped and sold by x". If you click on that, it will take you to a page showing the amount of feedback a seller has. Make sure you click on "overall" to see their total lifetime ratings.
Please No Self-Promotion
Please keep in mind that self-promotion rules are still in effect, so business owners, employees, or agencies should please refrain from posting and voting on their own deals or asking members to post or vote for you. Rather, we encourage you to message a moderator or staff member to learn about other ways of working together with Slickdeals.
As always, mods have the right to remove threads at their discretion if they feel shilling is happening within.
