4 person tent. Nothing fancy but cheap and works well.
8' x 7' x 4.8' high = 96" x 84" x 58".
Pros compared to other tents in this price range:
- thick polyester floor, goes up a few inches from the floor and well taped to the tent walls
- almost vertical walls provide mor space than traditional dome tent
- Large awning for good rain protection over the door
- storage bag large enough to put the tent back in it without struggling!
- mesh all around for good ventilation
- 60" tall inside
- guylines on for corners AND mid fly for good ventilation
- easy to set up because no sleeves on the tent roof, and attached poles with sleeves on the opposite corners (almost as good as what Kelty does on their Discovery Basecamp)
- fly comes down quite low for good rain protection
Cons:
- rather thin poles
- fly fabric a bit thin
- only 1 door, no windows, and no electric door
- attached poles makes it awkward to stretch out for drying up
Pretty similar to the popular Sundome, except a tad taller inside and narrower, but with a much better floor and awning, and the fly goes down lower.
Note also: the Kelty Discovery Basecamp 4 for $82 at REI, a bit smaller and no poly thick floor. Also 6 person version on sale at Dick's right now, a good one if you want a very large tent.
Usually hovers between $120 and $145, currently on sale at Amazon and Target for $100.

-full fly because it will rain
-room for a tall queen inflatable because old knees
-enough height and room for a chair to get dressed inside
-enough room to keep a weeks gear inside
-not so big it will be hard to find room to place the tent
Its only 4'8" but most tents are only tall right in the center where your bed will be. This spreads the height out.
You mean this? https://www.dickssporti
That's a Sundome not a Skydome and not as nice a tent. $80 is a decent deal but for the bigger size I would wait for a deal on an instant tent. Honestly, I other than backpacking, I don't use anything except instant tents anymore. There's a lot to be said for setting up quickly when rain is coming or night is falling.

Good luck!
