GameStop has this for below $400 while Amazon is selling the same monitor for $630. Brand is Cooler Master but it seems the hardware itself is Samsung.

These were originally listed at $700 for the 34 and I believe $500 for the 27.
Decent for gaming, oversaturated calibration out of the box, manual calibration will be required if you're doing color sensitive creator work etc.
Lots of reviews online for these and people say they feel and look similar to Pixios especially the OSD, but I have never used a Pixio monitor.
A 165-240hz IPS panel will in most cases look "better", but this will look good for gaming, decent VA monitor. I'd like to make note in case anyone cares, ports are as follows:
2 HDMI but only one is 2.0 the other is 1.4
Both DP are 1.4
If I didn't have my alienware I'd probably take a shot at this monitor myself.

Whats the difference between the one in OP and the gigabyte?
I agree. Mine is a gaming monitor Dell 32" 165Hz and it won't bother me at all while gaming. But I use it for school and work as well. And it does annoy me a lot. It all depends on the person using it and their perspective. Just pointing it out!
