The 13 inch was selling for $60 in June and July according to ebay sales history. They raised the price to $100 and then give you $30 off. But $70 is still a good price.
I ordered the 10in SS10-XR-RM last Tuesday ($60). It's coming in today. We'll see how it is. If I knew about the 13in, I would have ordered that instead.
I have the Ryobi 40V Expand-It 12in snow shovel as well. I bought from HD for around $200 last winter.

Did you use an eBay price tracker, like 3camel for Amazon?
I'm wondering what the certified refurbished pricing is like in the winter.

Depending on where you are you probably can't test it on snow, but let us know how it compares to the Ryobi. My guess is much weaker, and if so, what do you think of it for the price.
Anyone used one of these snow shovels for more than 5 minutes? Neighbor was on his second step when I was done shoveling my townhouse. I really don't think these are worth the price of shipping.

I think these are used for sidewalks and driveways, not door steps. Try searching videos on YouTube to see what they are like. I'm sure there's somebody showing it in action your neighbor probably didn't know how to use it
We have the electric snow Joe thrower. Works good as long as it's not wet and heavy. These are manual push and not self propelled, so if it's a wet heavy snow, it's hard to push into the snow.
Anyone ever use any of these to comment as to whether they are worth it (for a light snow part of the country)?
I've got a shovel for the flat roof/deck and the throwerfpr the drive (both corded) they work very well for non-wet snow up to the claimed depth (perfect for here in the high desert of the Pacific Northwest we're all use it maybe three times a year.) If I was back in the midwest or Northeast where the snow is wet and heavy I would not try to move more than about 3 inches at a time. Personally I would be a bit wary about battery operated as the cold will decrease the battery capacity so depending on how much space you're trying to clear it might take you several hours with recharging time but I'm a corded fan (lawnmower and snow removal) other people really hate having cords...
