After going to xiaomi band 5, then 6, then 7, then 7 pro and spending less than buying one refurb Apple Watch… I prefer xiaomi. I want a watch that also keeps steps, and can measure heart rate spo2, gives me the weather… track sleep… just the basic functions. I don't need it to show me texts or app updates. And best of all, I don't HAVE to charge it everyday. If I remember I'll charge when when I'm taking a shower and that's all it takes to keep it going. I can go to weekend trips without taking a charger with me.
With tech hardware updating on annual cycles, I find the Apple Watch to be an item that, once in product cycle, is not good enough for my daily needs so every time they come out with a new version I want to buy a new one to see if it is finally up to par…. But once I went xiaomi I actually found a product that meets all my needs and is much more affordable. My band 6 was working just fine but bought the 7 pro for larger screen. Although right now it's a debate between whether I need this much screen for what I really need the device for. Good thing I can have both and not break the bank.

Language can be set to English in the app I suppose. So what's the other difference?
Also, anyone know how this compares to the Amazfit smartwatch GTS 1,2,3 or 4? Which is the closest GTS watch?

Yes, I noticed the image in the CN version right after I posted the question here.
The CN version has different dimensions, higher weight and a larger battery. But it has a smaller battery life perhaps because it's slightly larger and has better display.
The CN version seems cheap enough for a basic watch but Amazfit BIP series has many watches to fit that bill. this is closer to their better GTS series except it seems like a long rectangle instead of a squarish display.

It looks like the chart is comparing the CN verison of the 7 Pro vs Global version of the 7..
Not a comparison of CN version 7 Pro vs Global version 7 Pro
Edit: I stand corrected, I think sam_ay comment is right and it does have GPS.

Actually the global pro has it. It's on its description page. They aren't comparing the 2 Pro versions. Check out the post above

Even as enticing the Pixel Watch can seem, the Fitbit subscription requirement for decent feedback and high upfront costs $300+ are such a dealbreaker that Xiaomi wins for at least next few years.

CH version supports NFC payments, US ver doesn't according to GSM Arena.

Does the 7 Pro CN come in English by default? How many days do you get (normal use) without charging? NFC is not important for me.
