90% of the time I try to use the "deals" posted on here, I learn the hard way that the products aren't worth it and/or the places selling them treat customers like serfs. I just got a melted ice cream sandwich and a cancellation from Uber eats shortly after chatting with Amazon about how to return one of their *basic* patio heaters that quit working after one use. (I have to disassemble it, pay for a box to pack it in, figure out a way to hoist it into my car, and haul it into a store to get a refund). What I wouldn't give for a company that pays their CEOs a reasonable wage and focuses on actually providing goods and services.

As for shipping it if Amazon has provided a prepaid return label then you could always call the carrier it's from and set up a pickup at your house.
And alas, I didn't change anything, but thanks for thinking I have that much individual power and money. I *do* vote at the election box - and, as much as I can possibly afford to, with my dollar - for livable wages, safe conditions for workers, and safer products for consumers, though. And that's not about returning to the "good old days." Complaining about a few people who inherited their money, instead of earned it, and then used it to squeeze out small businesses and maee the majority of us poor enough that we need to hunt for deals on things that don't wind up working as advertised is not the same as saying that the good ol' days were good. As a queer person, I can assure you they were not.
(Have you tried to purchase everything you need in brick and mortar stores with decent labor practices and products lately? Perhaps, if you've got a 6-figure income and no job or caregiving responsibilities, you've managed it. Otherwise, good luck )
As for voting for change, who do you think is enabling these companies to find every loophole? Then again I've been a bit jaded by the whole two party farce in this country for a while now.
