FYI regular price is $39.99-$49.99. Not really a "deal" but might have some appeal if you're looking for this SPECIFIC (Wal-Mart Exclusive) Mega Box.

Wal-mart sometimes allows the vender that drop-ship collectibles (MJ Holdings) to use "creative license" to set the prices.
It's pretty shady stuff. Essentially Wal-Mart allows MJ to inflate prices when demand increases for certain items, then when demand wains they drop the prices down to ACTUAL MSRP. It's as if they're scalping their own products. To be clear I am referring to the "wal-mart sold" products and NOT the 3rd party vendors Wal-mart allows on their site.
That $66.xx price is an inflated price from earlier this year.
It seems like overproduction + inflated prices has (thankfully) dramatically slowed demand. Expect more discounts popping up on retail sites in the near future on all 2021 Topps collectibles. Post summer the markets seems to have definitely shifted away from the 2020 bubble.
The only mystery is wondering how long it will take Fanatics to wake-up.
For the ultimate nostalgic experience I'll need to buy these from my barber shop and find out 5 years later that none of us ever got good cards bc he took out all the keepers and resealed the packs before selling them

Great post. There's a bunch of sports cards on great sale. Search topps or panini then make sure to filter for sold by Walmart (i personally don't want to deal with other retailers on there) and look for all the others discounted stuff.

Would like to buy one just to compare the 1973 cards to the 1973 ones I have stored away. 😀. In 1973, there were no "special" cards and then I had no idea that rookie cards were of importance. And you could always tell if the packs were old by the hardness of the gum inside. Glad to see people still enjoy baseball cards, I have a bunch of them I will need to get rid of someday.

Thanks for this. I used to collect a long time but dont know anything about the hobby now. Do you recommend any of these from Best Buy as good deals? The 2021 Donruss Optics Baseball blaster box looks like a good deal.
