Best Buy has the LG 70NANO75UQA on sale for $649.99 w/ free shipping to most locales.

rtings.com gives the 55" version of this TV a mixed usage rating of 6.5. The lowest contributing marks (5.7 for Movies & 5.3 for HDR Movies) are because of poor dark room performance. The 70" version has a VA panel as opposed to the 55's IPS panel, so it would likely have better dark room performance at the cost of viewing angle. It's best scores of 7.5 were for TV shows and PC monitor usage. It scored 7.2 for sports.

Well, that's a pass for me.
FWIW the rtings review is for the 55" IPS model, the 70" is a VA panel which should yield better black uniformity, equal to or better gradient handling, higher brightness, and much better contrast still with the absence of local dimming.
Go for LG OLED if you can swing it, I got my 65" refurb for $850 and love it. Hard pass on anything related to their home theaters/speakers/soundbars, they are awful, their support is awful, their accessories are awful.

Agreed, got a second had 55" C1 for $700 early last year and it was one of the best purchases I made. I got it for my gaming pc. I no longer watch the TV as the wife and kids have "acquired" it. I miss my tv. Lol

So, you are saying their support for the refurbed TVs is much better?
