I'm seeing $1,224.99 on both my EPP and AAA. Definitely beats the prior deal through Woot, with Samsung's return policy, and no cost shipping both ways.

Was this the one that was around $800 earlier this year through EDU/EPP?

Looks like that was the Q990B and this ends in "C" so I'm guessing a slightly upgraded model

He probably means pass through. For some reason mostly all soundbar only pass through HMDI 2.0. It doesn't bother me, but it does some people.

The reality is most use cases for soundbars wouldn't need passthrough, i'm on the same boat, doesn't really bother me, the TV handles it through ARC anyway. If you need all that either pay the premium price for other soundbar manufacturers, or go true AVR-HT setup at that point IMO.
