Great price for a highly rated projector, unfortunately a few cons that are deal breakers for some.
Max screen size 120"
No 3-D
Input lag over 50ms which means games that are twitched based like shooters you will see a delay between button press and action on the screen.
If your main goal is movies and you have no interest in 3-D this is a very solid deal though.
I tried one of these brand new back in January/February.
it had an awesome image just testing it on my off white wall, with a proper screen it would be fabulous. Even in indirect daylight, right next to my 10 foot giant picture window it projected a nice picture. I can honestly say because of the huge size of the image you can get away with just projecting this onto a wall and only really serious people are going to say anything bad about the image.
as with any type of projector, the darker the room the better the image, but again I was really surprised how nice it looked on a white wall with indirect sunlight coming in.
long story:
I would have kept it, but the one I had would randomly flicker a black image for 0.50 seconds, super fast but you would notice it easily.
I tried 3 different 4K hdmi cables and tried a Roku Express 4K+, a Roku Ultra and a Chromecast 4K and they all did the random black flicker. I also tried all the different HDMI inputs on the projector with the same results. ( did it with 4K and 1080 content, both locally streaming from my Plex server and internet streaming )
I tested the 4K HDMI cables using my laptop and my sony 4K TV and windows said they were all 4K 60 HDMI cables. all of the ROKU's said the cables were 4K 60 and supported HDR.
I'm sure it was just 1 bad unit, because these get good reviews everywhere.

Does using a projector take more power than regular OLED TV?
I was concerned about their warranty even though the page says it has a one year warranty. I was told by a rep for open/used items, it only comes with a 90 day warranty. Has anyone bought an open item from buydig and what kind of luck have you had?

This is a big depends answer cause there are a lot of variables, but on average I would say yes, but in the long run the usage difference amounts to probably less than $20-30 per year at max.

Do any UST 4K projectors do 3D? I still have a large collection on 3D Blu-rays that I treasure more than my 4K discs.
Is this good to replace a 65 inch tv in the living room with sunlight? Or does it have to be in a dark room
If you're planning on using it with a 100" or above screen then yes, assuming you have the space and don't mind the inherently lower contrast and washing out because of ambient light (or you could invest in a good Ambient Light Rejecting screen but that's not perfect and adds to cost). Replacing a 65" TV with an equivalent projector won't be a great experience since Projectors are best when used to create larger projected images than would be economically practical with a TV.

it should cost you far less than $1.00 extra per day to run the Projector for the exact same amount of time as the C2.
you can use online electricity calculators to find out your exact cost based on what you pay for your electric

Yes but the bigger concern for most people is the additional up front cost of a good quality screen
