I wish there was a deal on just the multi-tool. I have the driver and drill on their 12v system and really like it. I've rarely used any of my "more powerful" drills or drivers since I've had it. As a standard homeowner, these 12v's are powerful enough for almost anything I've needed.

Love my 12v flexiclick bosch. Seems like a good deal on the combo.

I have the 18v oscillating tool. Do your research on the "starlock" format however so you are not surprised when old format does not work.

Might want to avoid the starlock multi-tool. Although starlock is a superior system, it is proprietary to only Bosch and Fein, so the blades are hard to find and very expensive. And they will not accept a standard blade.

I don't think the deal for $135 came with the Oscillating Multi-Tool

This is a great combo! I got mine during the last sale and was able to get Amazon to refund me $30 because it did not come with a pictured box. I see this new deal does not have the accessories box pictured. I had Bosch's brushless 12V drill and the flexibility of this Chameleon is amazing and it is so fast and easy to change each attachment. The multi tool I was in the fence as I already have a great 18V brushless from Dewalt but this one is smaller and perhaps quieter. It was easier to maneuver it in tight spaces. I have only used the blade it comes with because it only accepts Starlock blades. Another negative about it is that you need the included Allen wrench to replace the blade. For the price, you can't go wrong!

I have both of these tools and they are excellent. The flexclick driver is perfect for around the house assembly, and the multitool is one of my favorites - low vibration, compact and easy to handle.

This is a great price for both. While the Bosch 12V line isn't as extensive as the Milwaukee M12 line, for most homeowner tasks it's perfect.

Bosch also has some excellent woodworking tools in this 12V line (planer, router, sander).

I bought this deal last time. It is very good except that I did not know anything about the Starlock system with the oscillating tool. If you must have this then you will need an adapter from here……https://www.oslotoolcompany.com

I have the previous version, and if you are into DIY, flatpack, repairing and modifying things ... they are excellent to work in tight corners, confined spaces. The ergonomics and weight blance are better than Milwaukee.

Now brushless, so battery life is likely a bit better.

RE: starlock. Mine is the previous one with hex nut. ( ditto for the bigger corded version ) Not an issue if you buy Bosch blades, which I highly recommend. Sure they cost a bit, but sales happen, and you really want a sharp blade, and I like the curve tech edge from Bosch. Note I only cut wood for the most part. I have some blades that can do metal etc, but I prefer the much cheaper reciprocating saw blades or my little hack saw, vs $$ blades to cut nails or screws if i can. The standard blades and multipacks from the various big box stores, internet and harbor fr ... are like one time use, disposable blades. Just stamped steel painted black. With a bit of care - aka let the tool do the work, don't over heat, avoid nails - the blades last way better than the overpriced standard stuff. And I will keep a slight to half dull blade around to do some less important cuts or ones I suspect there will be hidden nails.

And to me, the interface seems superior. Easy to swap. Very strong. Lots of contact area. I was using my wife's ryobi yesterday and it only has the small four pointed cross as interface, which had some play in it and it rattled the blade loose ... Had to really crank the screw down, and I can't see the interface cross last.

Anyway. My 12v bosch are my primary tools for small diy, very confimed spaces, lighter duty work and tasks that don't require the big guns. Construction and demolition happens with my ridgid 18v.

The drill/driver is not EC model, are you sure it is brushless motor?
