Is there a site out there like the old Autoslash?

Thread Details
I just tried writing on a 4 year-old thread, but the site wouldn't let me post because the thread was too old....so I'm starting a new thread. Maybe something has changed in the last 4 years?
As recently as this past February, Autoslash got me a screaming deal on a rental car (literally 1/3 the price I could find anywhere else) and it did work out. But today, I tried using autoslash and found cheaper prices at costco and one other site. What a bummer! For years, I had counted on the site to find me the best rental prices without having to do a lot of investigating. At the very least, you'd expect Autoslash to be able to match everyone else's price, but when I can find better deals with 5 minutes of effort, something's seriously broken at Autoslash. Yeah, the early days were the best, when they'd often uncover some crazy low rental prices. Over the past few years, the insanely screaming deals have decreased, but at least they've matched (or slightly beaten) everyone else. I got the feeling that they've recently simply been a branch of Priceline.
Has someone else picked up the torch of the old Autoslash?
