eBay Flash Sale Coupon frequency. Predicting when they drop?

Is there any rhyme or reason for when the eBay Flash Sale Coupons drop? From looking at post history it looks like they are usually near the end of the month, but there doesn't seem to be a pattern as to which months. Sometime they are a couple months in a row, other times they go a couple without any.

Does anyone else have insight on when or why these get rolled out?

I literally just looked for a flash sale code this morning in hopes of using it for a large purchase. Hopefully we get lucky and one pops up within the next couple days.
