Rare deal on some nice woodworking equipment. I had been looking at the Grizzly equivalent of this jointer, which is $2,764 shipped. For those not in the know, Grizzly and Shop Fox are the same company. The Grizzly brand is sold online and has a 1 year warranty and the Shop Fox brand is sold online as well, but also through a network of brick and mortar distributors and carries a 2 year warranty. Most of their tools have a version for each brand and they are identical other than the paint, same manual even.
This deal equates to a $525 discount (19%) over the Grizzly version, with an extra year warranty and the ability to drive to a dealer if I ever need a fix. That's a nice bonus, shipping a 500lb jointer would be a pain.
Use Paypal checkout with your Paypal Mastercard for another 3% ($67) or do what I did and use Paypal credit for 6 months 0% financing.
Lots of other shop fox tools on sale. The drum sanders and table saws look like a great deal. If I had the money for a $5,000 drum sander I'd be all over that too.

They put that warning on anything that comes on a non standard pallet. I ordered a similar model grizzly jointer a few years ago and it said no lift gate service. The truck that showed up did have a lift gate but only had a standard pallet jack and couldn't get it onto the lift gate due to it being strapped and shrink wrapped to a 96 inch long pallet. Neighbor has a kubota with forks that we used. Im sure they could and would have shimmied it onto the lift and got it down rather than not deliver it, but I'm also sure they would have been some real angry delivery guys if we had to do that. They also probably wouldn't have cared it it fell, they just wanted it off their truck lol

Heck when I've ordered stuff from them before they wouldn't come down my road and I HAVE a tractor with forklift attachment for
Do you just use jigs on your table saw and planer to replace the function of the jointer?
