    since this has an alternate connection with USB-A, that shouldn't be too much of a concern..

I have several tablets and laptops, but all have either USB A or USB C slots (or lightning ports for iPad / iPhone).

    They made a version of this with USB C and A but it seems to be discontinued 😞. I wanted another one 2 weeks ago and settled for some cheap alphabet brand I'm still waiting for. Hope it doesn't fry my sh**.
