We've had a sleep number bed for over 5 years now and absolutely LOVE it!!! Best nights sleep we've ever gotten! Worth the price!

Getting one delivered tomorrow. The reason for purchase was that, at half price, we could afford to take a chance with a top of the line model (ILE 360). Our expectations are that it will not cause hip/shoulder pain, it will sleep cool, and that there will be no motion transfer from one side of the bed to the other, because each side has its own air chamber. We currently are trying a purple P4 that we love for the comfort, but the motion transfer is irritating. Either one of us moves and the whole bed shakes. I am a little nervous because we are running out of models to try.

There is so much love and hate for this company, I am not sure what to expect. Well, we have 100 day trial to decide for ourselves.

I returned it. I had the next to highest model, but the 'special edition' something like a ILE 360
my problem was that I am a side sleeper and it was either too firm for my hips and shoulder (pain) or if I let the air out, it would sag under me throwing my alignment off. Ive heard there are other air mattresses with better support so you can let out the air without the sag. the good news is that I got my refund, minus restocking fee. I tried the Purple 3 which was still too firm for me, so I finally settled for a USED Purple 4. (I prefer to buy the sterilized 'comfort returns', at about 1/3 of the price of new). I also discovered there is a mattress used in most Hyatt hotels that I love. I am going to do some investigating and find out how to buy a Hyatt mattress.
