This seems like a lot for 24K? Granted, these look like they may be LiFePO4 vs. the older tech.

It just seems way over priced...

I honestly don't get why you would need more than four LEDs indicating how much charge you have on a battery like this.
It's fun to have a display with some overkill of information, but it drives up the cost by a large margin, and adds another thing that can break to something that just needs to hold a charge for a phone or laptop.

The 140W is probably for the Macbook. It also claims it can do 3 devices at once. My 100W charger can't do two laptops at the same time.

It auto adjusts to the device's max charging capability. It doesn't go over 25-26w for the iPhone.

I think the point is the phone will work with the battery pack, not the battery pack's wattage output is sufficient for the iPhone. Apple devices tend to be the weak / very picky link due to their proprietary and completely arbitrary spec requirements.

If a charger cannot pat its head & rub its belly while also repeating Apple's mission statement backwards...in Latin then the phone decides not to charge. Of course Apple claims this is to protect the device. Zero to do with driving sales of absurdly overpriced iDevices....that is just a side effect. You can actually thank Apple for the EU's semi-recent mandate every mobile device must charge via USB C.

Apple uses the standard USB-C spec in it's new phones. USB-C was developed in part by Apple.

Like I said...because of new EU laws.

In cooperation with Apple and pretty much every other major mobile manufacturer. Not sure your point here. They participated at best, they'd be stupid not to.

It was coming either way. All their Macs, iPads, AirPods, Apple Watches, etc use USB-C.

Praise the EU! Lets not forget they ruined every website with their terrible Cookie Law that now nags you every site you visit!

I doubt that. How was Apple going to charge you $50 for a USB C cable like they could with a magic "Lightning" cable with microchip inside. The death of Monster Cables almost bankrupted Best Buy, hope Apple fares better.

That is uber annoying. Perhaps someone could tell them a cookie might helpLMAO Nah, thats too complicated for them.
