Don't get into Nest ecosystem, Google will just abandon you and leave you with expensive paperweights. After years of setting up my home , they slowly kill off their products and leave you questioning the validity of your purchase.

I wish I could disagree. I outfitted my whole house with nest gear (including this lock, which works well) but the ecosystem is awful. I'd hate to go to Ring but I just might have to.

Agreed 100%! Over the last couple years I've slowly replaced all of my Google devices, switched over to Apple and things just work. Reolink doorbell is pretty nice so far, got it set up in HomeKit through HomeBridge along with a few Tapo cameras around.
