Companies price match and manufacturers set sale prices as well.

It does go on sale for this price several times a year, but it is not normally it is not this price and usually the sales are not for all colors.
Based on what I've read, it seems like some people still have a double click issue with this mouse. Always some risk of double clicking with mechanical switches.

Been keeping an eye out for this mouse on Amazon for a while and saw that it dropped today and other retailers had it at the same price so I figured I'd include them all here. This is the ATL according to CCC and it appears to only come down to this price once or twice a year.
I've had a couple of these and they all double clicked eventually. It's a great mouse though, great shape, light, and the battery lasts many months at a time. I'm actually a little surprised people are saying they've had them for nearly 3 years without developing the double click, it happens pretty consistently.

The only sure fix is to replace the switch. It used to be that would involve soldering, but it's a such popular mouse with such a consistent flaw that now you can buy a replacement switch+pcb+assembly on Ali3xpress for around $5, or Amazon for ~$15 that doesn't need any solder to swap in. Just a screwdriver. Is that worth doing for a $30 mouse? I don't know, but if you already have one, it cuts down on e-waste slightly.

A similar mouse is the razer orochi v2, which occasionally (not now) is $35-40 on sale. Much more satisfying clicks (compared to default g305), slightly smaller shape, but the battery is days to weeks instead of many months like it is on the g305. The orochi also adds a a Bluetooth option whereas the g305 is only the USB dongle.

Sadly, no. A lot, even Logitech ones, don't have tilt. It is just a feature that isn't everywhere, yet.

For those slightly out of warranty with the double-click issues, contact support. They sent me a new one even though I was like a month over the warranty. I had the double-click issue with the back button, not with the left/right click.

However, I have another one that does have a double-click issue with the left button.

I use the mice anywhere from 6-10 hours a day.

I absolutely hate this issue, but the performance, decent ergonomics, weight, and battery life are all great so in for 2

have this model and gone through 2 of them, its a design fault concerning the double clicking, for some reason after a bit, stack electricity builds up under the buttons and that causes the double click. easy fix just blow warm air from your mouth onto the buttons and the double click issue will go away for a bit, it always comes back though.

All of my recent Logitech mice have quickly developed the double click issue. Logitech won't backup their products either. I spent a lot of time with support and all they said was too bad. I have a lot of gamer friends and they are all moving away from Logtitech products as the quality continues to go downhill.

Is Logitech fixing the problem out of warranty?

All of these Logi mice do this. You can whack it and air spray it to fix it for a week, but the solution is to buy ten mice and swap them when this happens.
At least, that's what they want you to do.

It's usually because the tension spring inside the button switch wears out.

The fix is to open up the mouse and bend the spring to increase the tension or to replace the spring. No soldering involved.

Here is a good tutorial that shows the steps and it also warns you about the annoying steps:

Had mine for ~18mo and it's started to double-click/ super sensitive clicking. Love it though so will order another one until finding something better.

Had one for about 18 months and then started experiencing random disconnects. A battery swap would work for an hour or two, then less. A weird failure I haven't seen discussed elsewhere, but YMMV with this mouse, too.

Had mine three years. Use is for WFH and gaming, which is sometimes intense and sometimes not at all for a few months. No double-clicking issues for me, and I am also still on the first battery. No complaints at all

Logitech is known for double click issues after a year or two. On my G604 I bought used, that didn't have double click issues, I just swapped to kailh silent switches anyways. Learning to solder (even if it's not great quality) is a great skill to have.
