Looks like T-Mobile is offering a hidden $10 hotspot plan ($15 before Auto pay). This is for consumer and business accounts. It's for BYOD hotspot devices only and connected laptops (so no phones or tablets). Looks like you will have to contact T-Mobile to get this. There will be a $35 activation fee as well. See the attached flyer and link for more info.

Hello, here are a few more images (attached) and some info regarding the consumer version of this plan.
The SOC code for the plan is MI30TI for taxes included plans (most people) and MI30TE for taxes excluded (those on plans like simple choice that don't include taxes).
I was personally able to sign up for this plan on a new account earlier today via T-Force on twitter (@tmobilehelp). I simply asked for the "Basic Mobile Internet 30GB Plan". I also had a spare SIM card laying around that they were able to activate immediately, and they kindly waived the activation fee (called "DCC" or "Device Connection Charge"). YMMV on if they're able to waive that fee though.
Also, if you ever did the T-Mobile "free trial" that came with the free hotspot to use, that device will technically work for this plan, but you won't have 5G since it's an LTE modem.
-----------------------------------------
I had a question of how to activate this SIM without a hot-spot if it was to be used on a phone - Found this reddit thread as an answer - https://www.reddit.com/r/tmobile/...&context=3
If you're not already a T-Mobile customer, how do you create an account with them? The methods I've tried either require a T-Mobile # or an email address used to purchase T-Mobile home internet.
Store is the best place to set this one up,.... it is easy 10 mins in and out thing. I am using 3 lines like this .. one in Van, One with my dad's google voice set up and third used by my Brother in His Van....

Yeah it's a little weird, I waited until I got the SIM, popped it into my phone, which gave me a txt from Tmobile that included the phone number. I used that phone number to then create the online account.
I just called Costco to add a 2nd hotspot line for additional $5/mo, no activation fee. The rep told me it is ending soon and asked me if I want to get two more lines for $30. I simply declined. I don't know how true it is that the plan is ending soon, or the rep wanted me to get more lines.

how is your 2nd line only $5/mth? Isn't it $10 after autopay?
I believe the deal is buy 1 get 1 half off. The rep quoted me this promo, so it is $15 for two lines after autopay.
It sounds like your rep might have had no idea what they were talking about (there are a lot of reps like that out there with most any carrier). One person in this thread previously mentioned they were also told that they'd get the "buy one, get one half off" deal but I don't think they ever confirmed it and multiple other users chimed in to say their reps specifically told them this deal is not eligible for that discount. I would be highly skeptical of anything that rep said and watch your bill for a few months even if the first month looks right (in case they added a one-time discount). It would be great if you got the second line for $5 monthly but I probably wouldn't hold my breath waiting to see it come through.

I can confirm that you can add a second MI30TI line for only $5/mo--
I believe the discount ID is 240046. I always buy lines in pairs,
and the rep always applies the discount automagically.
Also, if you purchase at a T-Mobile kiosk in Sam's Club, there's a
promotion, http://promotions.t-mobile.com/samsclub, for a $25 Sam's
Club e-Gift card--which is also good at Walmart. The promotion runs
through 1/1/2025.

Cool, thanks for the info … that's a great deal. I'm kind of surprised more people haven't gone that route, given how long this thread is. Maybe some reps don't know how to ring it up or just assume the offers can't be combined. .

Is it possible to add second line now if already have one from Costco? Also, can this line or my regular phone line be converted to esim and use this plan on the same phone?
The Costco tmobile rep add protection plan without knowledge so keep looking

Just called Costco now and added 2 lines to my account with the B1G1 50% off on the second line. He said he's able to add 6 total lines with this 50% off promo so effectively $45 for 6 lines. Really great sweetener to an already good deal.
I will keep an eye out on my bill to see if the discount got applied.
I was able to open 2 lines through chat as a new customer. The rep knew of the plan right away but was not aware of the $5 second line. I copied and paste this from another poster above:
"I can confirm that you can add a second MI30TI line for only $5/mo--
I believe the discount ID is 240046. "
And the rep was able to find the promo. $15/mo for 2 lines all tax included. No activation fee and 2 sim cards shipped free.
