Negative, tried multiple browsers and various answers to the questions, but the app always bonked out. Tried calling but they won't do apps over the phone. The rep said it probably has something to do with me having both personal and business chase credit cards that are tired to the same web login, seems like a lame excuse, but who knows.

I have an appt at the local branch tomorrow. One thing that surprised me was the branch manager called me after I made the appointment to ask questions about my business. I have a sole prop and told him the name of the business which is the same as what's on my chase business cards. He then asked have I registered the name with the state? I said no, it's just a sole prop so no need, plus I already have a chase business card under that business name. He said no dice for a checking account, it had to be registered. I said, well fine, I'll just register it under my name since it's a sole prop using my ss# so it really doesn't matter. He begrudgingly said ok... It felt like a bizarre interaction. Almost like he didn't want to open the account for me to get the bonus. Also it's an hour and a half appointment which he demanded lol. Wish me luck tomorrow, it's already starting to feel like it's not worth it...
I opened a business account with them last month and called the customer service number today to see if they would honor this change in promotion. They told me that I need to go to a physical location and speak with a business relations manager to see if they could change it. So I guess I'll be reporting back once that happens.
I'm late to the game on seeing this. I just opened a new account on Friday with the $300 offer. I just called the banker who opened my account on Friday, and she cancelled the $300 offer and applied the $400. No problem to change the offer.

CSR rep could not do it. Went into a local branch and they adjusted the payout to 400 no problem. 21 day grace period is what I was told not 90 days. FYI

So, this account can't be opened by individuals?
Need a physical business address?

Anyone have luck opening Chase business checking accounts online only (as sole proprietor), without having to go into a branch?

The last sentence in the post:
