I just noticed today the Line 6 Pod Go is on a $125 off "limited time offer" at most online (and some physical) music stores. These rarely go on sale for 25% off so I would consider this slick.

With the latest free 2.0 firmware update, you get a TON of the Line 6 Helix-like amps and effects for a fraction of the price (albeit with some limitations). There are tons of videos and articles on Pod Go vs. other options including Helix, so do your research to see if Pod Go is right for you.

Various retailers:
Guitar Center (support your local stores) https://www.guitarcenter.com/Line...9.99%20USD

Sweetwater https://www.sweetwater.com/c633--...%20Effects

Musicians Friend https://www.musiciansfriend.com/a...-processor

ZZounds https://www.zzounds.com/item--LINPODGO

Amazon https://www.amazon.com/Line-POD-G...QQM1H?th=1
in Musical Instruments (11)
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

If you are new to ordering music gear online, do yourself a favor and get it from Sweetwater. Orders include free 2 year warranty, candy, and great customer service. They are easily the top retailer of any of the ones listed.
Wireless one is also $125 off on Amazon.
Good deal. Cheaper than used units tend to sell for. Get one and head over to Fluidsolo.com for the free patches.

If you're going to buy a pod go, do yourself a favor and get the wireless! Having the integrated wireless is really nice. I have upgraded to a Helix, but I absolutely miss that integrated wireless.

Such a good price. If you don't need parallel paths, or ordering of effects. This unit is for you.

Our other guitarist has a Helix. I prefer my Boss GT-100. I've got money invested in "custom" patches for it, so I don't want to upgrade quite yet.

Fantastic amp modeler. I've had this unit for over a year and use it every day, I love the versatility and quality of sounds. I've been buying line 6 products for 20 years and this helix modeling tech is light years ahead of their older modeling systems.

As someone who is looking into getting their first effects pedal, is this a good one to get and grow into for years to come? Mostly just play at home with an amp as a hobby, but looking to get into the effects pedal world. Any info would be appreciated, thanks!

Got the new version of the Headrush frfr-108. So far have only listened to music through it due to having a toddler and no time. Sounds better than the Harbinger 12" powered speaker I have, but no other comparisons yet

I've read the IR is a game changer compared to COSM

I've got a Spyder 212 that's about 20 years old. It came with a four button pedal to switch between whatever channel model you chose, but it took half a second to change over. Obviously that makes it worthless during a song where it's not just one the whole time.

Is this faster?
