The first thing you'll notice when pulling a Montecristo Crafted by AJ Fernandez from your humidor is the three white, red, and gold bands which cover most of each mahogany-colored 6" X 50 vitola. Once this decoration is out of the way and the foot properly smoldering, the perfectly aged longleaf tobaccos will begin producing clouds of smoke laden with the heavenly flavors of cedar, mocha, and spice. The mid-point of the cigar is marked by a bright citrus revelation, with some sweet licorice, dark earth, and a hint of red pepper keeping the medium-strength cigar on track to the very end.
