It was actually ~2090 after taxes with edu, before new years. And there was a 7% cash back offer which gave back around ~156...so not a good deal but samsungs scammy marketing makes people think differently. Oh and chat gave you 2 year warranty for "free" as well. I'm sure that's still available though.

And they offered delivery & in home installation which is a nice option for those that need it but I'd rather make that decision for myself. They paid two guys in a pickup to drive 180 miles round trip and wall mount. Time and mileage were likely north of $350.

It's still a good deal compared to the led competition at this price. I've been waiting for it to go back down to pre New Years pricing. Maybe in a week or two. I just may wait for the Hisense U8N.
