Hisense U8K back down to $1,299 at Best Buy. It was at this price a couple weeks ago and I have been waiting for it to drop again. I looked at the 75" in store and off angle viewing was pretty great. I currently have a 65" H9G that was the basement TV until my Samsung QN90B somehow ended up with a shattered screen... 🙄
Now the question is do I get this one or the U7K at Costco for $899 w/ warranty.
Just a heads up that the 75" has a different panel type than the rest of the sizes for this TV. Other sizes have VA panels while the 75" has an ADS panel, which is probably why it looked good at an angle.
The 85" is down to $1799. It was $2199 since before Christmas.
Trying to decide between this and the Sony X90L
Same for me. It's a tough decision but I went Sony and it's coming Wed. I've heard nothing but good things about it (aside from minor blooming) and I'm not all that confident in Hisense products after reading SD comments and reviews elsewhere.

I almost bought the Sony last week but I was waiting for Super Bowl sales. Now that the HiSense and some LG's and Samsung's have come down I am going to wait a couple day sto see if the Sony drops. At same price I think the Sony seems to have a more natural color from their processing. The HISense brightness would be nice though. Tough choice. If the Sony drops a few hundred bucks I'll jump on it.

I'm in the same situation. Placed an order for X90CL from Costco which should be delivered on Wednesday. What I've learned is that Sony processing cannot be beat. I also expect it to be more reliable. And of course, as a Costco exclusive, it comes with a 5-year warranty. If the price on it comes down at SB, I can request a price adjustment for 30 days after purchase.

Nice! Not only that but the return policy is 90 days, no questions asked so if something great pops up before mid April I'll send it back. Saw a video yesterday where someone brought their Hisense back on a cart with no box or anything. 🤣

I have a wide viewing area with windows behind seating. Would the 75" or 85" have the right panel? I want at least 75" but the 85 is very tempting

The 75" on U8K, and most likely on the U7K, is IPS, better for those wide viewing areas. You might get slightly more blooming and a lower contrast, but it seems to be much less of an issue with the mini led dimming zones.
You guys think the price for 65" will drop any after the superbowl or pull trigger now? Also, this or the TCL - 65" Class QM8 Series Mini-LED QLED 4K UHD, same price at Best Buy.

I would imagine you would be waiting for the new models to release before you see a substantial further price decrease, but you never know. From what I've seen in videos, the TCL has better contrast, really pushing towards those OLED level blacks with basically no blooming, while the U8K looks better with colorful HDR? That's just second hand from watching reviews, though.
I have the 100 inch of this and the 83 inch c3. The c3 is not as bright but handles motion in sports a lot better. For movies the Hisense is great but if you are buying primarily for sports I think the c3 is the better tv.
