Actually I think there are plenty of people like me that could use a phone like this and still have time left over at the end of the year.
Some people, like me just use a phone as an actual phone. I use my computer for most other things like bills and such. My phone is just a phone and no I don't speak on the phone most days either.
Another thing you seem to have ignored is it's only $60. Many people pay more than that for a single month. So in reality, you COULD buy this phone every month and still save money.

Seem you didn't try to buy. It has additional $4.99 for the shipping and handling. Make it about $50 after tax with that shipping and handling fee.

It was sweeter deal with $30 off coupon HELLO30 after you add a donation of $1. However the coupon was already expired.

It has free shipping on it not sure why you're getting charged $4.99. Yes, the deal was better with the $30 discount but that coupon expired so that's not relevant and now this $20 discount is the best deal for this phone.

Ooooh!

Can I be the one who complains that it's "only 1.5 GB of Data for the whole year"?

Heads up, the "1500 Talk/Text/Data" is for the entire year, doesn't refresh every month. That ends up being like 4 mins of calling, 4 texts, and 4mb of data transfer per day.

You're pretty much buying a below-average handheld with a token pre-paid plan applied -- a plan that's pretty much single use per month. So, pick which day out of the 30 you wish to lightly use your phone each month!

I got one of these QVC Tracfone deals for my 14 year son in part because of the limited data; keeps him from being able to stream youtube videos wherever, but still lets him have a usable smartphone for cheap.

Looks like lavenderpickle was writing that up as you submitted your comment. For 60 bucks (40 if you're a first time customer) this a very good deal for a decent emergency phone. No one is buying this as their main everyday phone and that's not what this is designed for.

I pay $10/month for unlimited talk, unlimited text, and 1gb of data. It's not a bad deal. Who's paying more than $25 for an equivalent amount? That seems a bit shortsighted and wasteful.

I buy one of these every year to re-up the plan for my elderly mother. She doesn't need alot of data because she spends the majority of her time at home or places with WiFi and 1500 min and 1500 texts she never uses up. All the data and minutes and text roll over when you re-up so she has accumulated like 10+GB of data and pretty much unlimited talk & texts on my eon her phone as well as an emergency phone I keep in the glove box. After I activate I switch the SIM to a better phone and sell the burner phone online somewhere and usually make back a good portion of what I paid once the phone unlocks in 2 months.

Yeah I'm considering buying it so I could use this phone and get multiple discounts at the places that require a phone number for the account
