Some people, like me just use a phone as an actual phone. I use my computer for most other things like bills and such. My phone is just a phone and no I don't speak on the phone most days either.
Another thing you seem to have ignored is it's only $60. Many people pay more than that for a single month. So in reality, you COULD buy this phone every month and still save money.

$10/month gets me unlimited calls + texts, with a respectable 1gb of data. The phone was freely provided. Compare that to spending $60 for a 1500 plan (and a below average device) that has to last 12 months.
If you "don't need" something because you don't use it, then don't buy it? Otherwise of course it's going to be wasteful. I don't see how that relates to this so-called "deal" being all that amazing. Folks need to be aware that it's a really, REALLY limited plan on a weak device.
Is that US mobile as your phone's wireless carrier? Are you happy with it? TIA.
do i need to leave the service active , will they charge me after my 3 payments? can i use there service for 1 year?
Yes, you are correct. I received mine unlocked too.

My concern:
These "whole year of one talk/text/data pool" deals should specifically state the amounts listed are not a monthly allotment.
Reason: Most cellular plans renew and reload monthly.
Even with Tracfone, you could get monthly allotment plans, so it's ambiguous without stating it more specifically.
The FP deal editor didn't even explain it well.
You had left out the plan details other than it was for a year, for some reason. I hope this makes sense as advice for future deals. Thank you for posting, and repped.
If someone knows where to get a better phone for that price, please let me know. I couldn't find one.
I'm hoping that she can use the Samsung A13 5G with another carrier's plan after the 1 year period, if needed. If not, maybe she'll get another Tracfone bundled deal.
I looked at the BLU phone, but she really doesn't need the higher usage plan, and she likes to pinch her pennies, so this fit the bill.
To get a brand new Samsung Galaxy A13 with 64GB memory plus service 1 year is not too bad. Phone can be unlocked in 2 months and used with any carrier.
But there is a catch. As shocking as it sounds, Galaxy A13 uses a 32-bit Android operating system, so the 64-bit apps wont work on this phone. One good example is the populat DJI Fly app used to control DJI drones. If you plan to dedicate this phone work on the remote permanently, you will be disappointed as the app won't install on Galaxy A13.

My old neighbor has mint plan, but she doesn't want to pay 180usd per year anymore.
Is there any way to buy this deal and transfer her mint number here?
Or if no, how can freeze her old number for year? Just put it in drawer and get message, calls for year with lowest price?
