Not sure an 8 core cpu will be enough as a router. Don't get me wrong they are excellent for productivity and 4k gaming etc but you need at least a threadripper for routing the entire internet traffic of North America.

is the cl36 a big deal on these bundles. Heard CL30 is what you want. How would I notice the difference for gaming streaming video editing?
I'd say realistically the only impact you'd see comparatively is when video editing and or transferring large files. The RAM benefit would likely kick in mainly during heavy reading/writing operations, hence when rendering or exporting videos. I don't think you'll really see a big difference unless you're working with huge video productions.

Which one is better ? Ryzen 7 7700X or i9-12900K bundle. Both are $399
For gaming a 7700x, intel one runs hotter and is harder to cool. However if you can keep it cool and do video editing/productivity etc then the intel one is better.

They have a 7800X3D bundle for $100 more. That's the one I got
How is the quality of MB on that bundle, see some questionable reviews. What heat sink did you get for the cpu?
