The downside of this CPU is that the iGPU is 1/3 the theoretical power of a 7840u. If you don't try to game on this at all, won't make one difference.
But if you ignore that deal. For buying today, this is a good laptop in the price range given the build quality, and decent screen.
If you want to pay $150 more, Costco has a 7840u/16 GB/1TB version monthly for $699.

The linked is a Pavillion Plus (in a aluminium chasis) with AMD 7040 series. This is a much nicer laptop.

2 isn't e waste lol. Its their bottom tier like Intel celeron series. And last I checked it blows the doors off of intels low end. DDR5, RDNA graphics. Not a chip from 5 years ago
