I can see why that would be annoying. With my last vacuum to get around this, I tried to never have it do the whole house at once and would just schedule it to do sections. For example, common areas at night, bedrooms during the day. It took a little while to iron out the schedule, but it was totally worth it.

This is $300
Amazon. I see reviews, I'm talking thousands, for something completely different. For instance, I was reading reviews about dog barking systems, but ended up with 8000+ reviews about chocolate milk. The actual review related to the product is only two items. Here take a look for yourself.

It also seem like each clean run I have to remove the roller and clean it and cut the hairs with the hand brush/cutter tool. If this is the norm I think I will have to return it or get a different model.
