Yeah it's a shame because you can get it at a low price with the rotating bezel which is compelling. But I can't handle that kind of battery anxiety. Movboi has a dual screen tech at that can extend the battery life from up to 4 days. An essential mode that can last weeks but still has a pedometer and sleep tracking. But no Google Assistant support. Which is odd because it was supported in the last generation.
Fossil had the same limitation and they ended up ditching the entire smartwatch industry. Google seems to have nerved some functionality for all but Samsung. Borders on Monopoly behavior. Google is just not treating it's other partners well with wear os
I'm hoping the OnePlus watch 2 might have Google Assistant support. Although I would probably wait for it to be 9 months old and on the resale market before I actually bought it
When the watch6 came out, I bought that too to trade in watch4. It was the same thing. It was noticeably less bright and more washed out! I returned it right away.
Yes, the watch4 is less battery life, but that's why you need the 46mm, not the 42mm one, for the bigger battery. I have always on display and I can get through a day with about 30% left, but I don't get a million notifications like others may get. I have a small wrist (usually 40-42mm watches) but the 46mm doesn't really wear very big. The bigger touchscreen also makes it easier to use.

What I dislike about this watch is that it looks like a normal ancient watch(non smart watch).

Back on topic to SD, seems like a poor value product if you have to tell people to turn off all of the features you paid for just to get even close to a battery life that doesn't cause charging anxiety.
