It's the seam that's the problem. If you bang it slightly or close it too hard, it will crack the screen. It starts with a tiny crack, then over time, the crack turns into a black line, then the entire half screen turns black, then the whole screen turns black

I have flip 3 and after about a year of use the protective screen layer started to peel off from the folded middle part and luckily I was within 2 days of warranty ending and Samsung replaced it for free. The battery is pretty mediocre on these phones and the aspect ratio is odd for media like YouTube and Netflix and cut off a big portion if you do fit to screen.

I have the flip3 (2 1/2 years) and have had no problems. I've replaced the screen protector with one purchased from Amazon. No problems.

Well so far pretty impressed. Looks brand new and have no issues. Mine came with the original box. This phone is way brighter and louder than my Pixel 6. Hopefully I can sell my Pixel 6 for $150 or so and cover a lot of the cost of this one.

So you think significantly better than the Pixel 6? (I have one too). Or just that it is different? I remain on the fence. Thinking maybe to wait for an open box deal on a S22+.

I mean I guess it depends on what you are looking for but the screen is way brighter. Looking it up the pixel 6 is 600 nits and this phone is 1200. Definitely louder too. The screen is also bigger and I believe the consensus is the processor is better as well.


I mean I like it. The s22+ is a good phone too if you want to wait.

My experience was bad. The factory screen protector peels off easily from folding line and Samsung knows about it. It doesn't cost too much to buy replacement films but it's annoying that it repeats after months.
