EPP same price but gotta hold out for the 75" to drop a little more.
I just don't have the space... But yea. I cancelled the speakers, had no patience for trying to match satellite speakers. Hoping to be able to catch the q990c at the 600 level.
This doesn't seem like a good deal, you can find significantly better tv's for the same price or cheaper without requiring edu. The q80c lacks mini-led backlighting, instead having 96 zone "Direct Full Array" local dimming. Additionally, it does not support dolby vision.
The 65" hisense U7k occasionally goes on sale from various retailers for $700 ($50 cheaper), and is a far superior tv by the vast majority of metrics.
Alternatively, the 65" tcl qm8 which is somewhat superior to the hisense u7k (which is already far superior to the q80c) has gone on sale as low as $750 in the past, though sales that low are rare.

Yea but both of your recommendations will have laggy choppy OS after a year, where the Samsung will go at least for 5+ years.
Just bought the U7K and after a month of frustration with the OS it's going back to Costco. There is more to a TV than a picture. If I were a student, I would get the Q80. My buddy has the Q80 and I don't see anything wrong with it.
