I own this microwave, bought it 2 years ago for $49 when Home Depot had that bundle glitch…. Love it! It's well worth $179 to anyone debating. If you're in need of a microwave, it's amazing!

Thanks and repped. We got the bespoke fridge last year (4 door and beverage center) for $1650 and loved it. Have been eyeing on the rest of the bespoke appliances.

I have several samsung appliances and they've been great for me. This includes the infamous fridge with ice maker builtin to the door

Usually it's fridges that seems to have worst rep, their microwaves are pretty decent I think, at least one I got from Best Buy lasted 12 years until the pad wore out due to age and replacement part was obsolete by then. Stoves are hit or miss I think, rest would depend on specific model but their fridges are something I personally would stay away as far as possible.

Never, ever again will I buy a Samsung appliance.

I have their powergrill microwave, paid for the most expensive model at the time. The damn thing nearly burned my house down several times. I've come home to the microwave+powergrill being on, seemingly for hours. The unit started pressing its own buttons randomly, usually the number 7. Samsung repaired it 5 times, replacing the door twice, even out of warranty. Then it started blowing fuses. In the end they refunded me what I paid for it.

They're washer and dryers have needed yearly repairs. The drive roller on the units didn't have bearings. Just a nylon washer on a metal post. Eventually these get dirty, squeal themselves to death and burn up//melt. Replaced twice under warranty before I bought my own with bearings.

The drum belt on the dryer slipped off and broke with a year.

The rollers for the entire drum needed replacing after 3 years, squealing like crazy. Luckily parts are now available cheap 3rd party on amazon.

The front door seal on the washer has been replaced twice. Expensive part even 3rd party.

Again I bought the most expensive models at the time (2016) and paid for an extended 3 year warranty.

The reason induction is so expensive it probably first due to "innovation" as they might still consider it "new" product with not so many on the market and second and more important is because more electronics and parts go into it for the magnetic field and control/adjustment of it. I think it didn't get as popular due to requiring cookware to contain metal that can support that type of function which means all those fancy pure copper or cheaper aluminum pans/pots are out of picture without metal inserts on the bottom.

I also had Samsung appliances and loved them. We moved and our new house has the kitchen aid ones with the little red dots on the handles. They were literally twice as expensive as my old Samsung stuff. I would pick my Samsung appliances any day of the week. More features and looked nicer. I had zero durability issues as well. Just my two cents.
