Referring myself with a different account didn't work (code didn't work), but I was able to get 10% off plus samsung care (after chatting a rep) and free tv mounting, bringing the total to $1,862.99. Still an awesome deal, thank you!

The account you use to place the order must be new for the referral to work. I'll add to the OP.

Or just get the s89c for $1800. Keep in mind a lot of these discounts are first order or one time use only

If you take the 2yr protection plan into the account that'd make this a better deal. BB at $1960 vs. this at $1769, around 10% less.

I also personally like the Samsung no fees 0% APR financing for 24mo.

Just FYI, 2 year plan is actually only one extra year. I bought last time it was this price with EPP and my Assurant paperwork says service starts in 2025 and ends in 2026.

Had I known that, probably would have skipped the purchase given how new QDOLED is and potentially higher burn in risk

I'm pretty sure the only warranty that covers burn in is the best buy one also. For what it's worth i have this TV connected to my pc and often leave it on a YouTube page or whatever for hours and there's no sign of burn in yet. I've only had it about 6 months but I've probably done more that would cause burn in than most people would in many years.

The feet/stand. Same panel otherwise.

How to get a referral code? Does it need a new account to be created?

Thanks for pointing this out. I Just checked my 2 years Samsung Care+ extended Warranty and it says the same thing. It starts on 2025 and ends on 2026, no where I the document explains why does dates are chosen. But they do use the word "extended coverage" this is for sure kind of deceptive. Glad that I didn't pay for it and got it for free, would have been super mad to pay $200 for a 2 year extended coverage that is actually just 1 year.

Yeah, this is in a very blur area in my opinion. Care+ says:

U. Television panel pixel damage or panel burned-in images subject to the original Product manufacturer's
allowable warranty guidelines and verified by Our Authorized Service Facility; and

Which my interpretation is, we will cover burn-in to the same extent that the original warranty does. But Samsung's original warranty for the S90C is very vague about burn-in. Other QDLED TVs (not OLED) specifically mention 10 years of burn-in warranty, which might be what Care+ might be referring to. Since the S90C warranty is vague and doesn't clearly state burn-in, it just says electric defects, you will be very likely to the mercy of the Care+ Claim Rep's interpretation of the warranty.

Still, if this is just a 1 year extra warranty I doubt it will be enough time for the TV to get burn-in any ways. For those really concerned about it then Best Buy is a better deal since their extended warranty for sure covers burn-in, plus there have been several posts talking of their good experience making claims with them. I am yet to find one with online post talking about Care+ TV claims.
