I use these to freeze small meals or desserts to hand out later as gifts. You can use them more than once, but I use them so I don't have to beg for my good tupperware to be given back. And yes, there are 50 lids and 50 containers included. Many have posted similar deals with cheaper prices, but only include 25 lids and 25 containers. And yes, I realize you shouldn't use these in the microwave even though they state that they're microwaveable.
