I have this phone and I actually like it. The screen and design are what does it for me. I don't game or "push" my phones so I don't care about the fastest chip.
If you want a large OLED 120hz screen with an up-to-date design for a cheap price then this is it.
Yeah there are missing features and much better phones out there but that's not the point. For the price nothing beats it.
Boost is the worst...A15 is also the worst phone in the today market.
Antutu benchmark shows its performance beats 2% phone (aka. 98% phones are better than it)
You have to activate the phone within 30 days. Otherwise, Boost will charge you the difference between the list price and sale price (another $160). After activation, you can do whatever you want with the phone though the phone will still be locked for a year. Somebody in another thread said when he got his device and phone got unlocked immediately. That however is a big YMMV.
An UNOFFICAL alternative to the A15 would be the A25 provided you do not mind paying another $60.
This deal didn't work out. They canceled the order two days after claiming it was being shipped soon and said sorry, you're out of luck without any real explanation.
I don't know how to answer that.
Boost Mobile specific deals or what?
I've never done anything with Boost Mobile before nor been a customer in the past.

Is this deal dead? I just want a plan on Boost via ATT, dont care about a lot of data
Boost send me an additional unit without any charge or may be a mistake. Can I give it a senior citizen friend and transfer his phone number? Once it's activated, will Boost charge me?
So I did the A25 deal for $260 after fees/taxes. Coming from a Pixel 7, it's a long story why I have to get a new phone, but I can say there are actually a few pluses for the A25 over the Pixel 7. 1st the display is brighter and seemingly better in every way, larger, matches resolution, better refresh rate, it's definitely noticeable. 2nd battery life, this is more like a 2-3 day phone whereas the Pixel 7 is a 1.5 day phone at best.
Shortcomings, it's not laggy, but it's not quick like the Pixel 7. There's some hesitation switching between apps, it's still going to get there within a second or 2, but it's not instant like the Pixel 7 was. The camera is better than mediocre, but past that it's really not comparable, you need good lighting or a lot of time to frame your shot, and hope you and your subjects stay still. No waterproofing scares me a bit, but I did it for several years prior to 2018 or so, so I should be ok.
Overall with the Boost Mobile service which includes 35 gigs of data per month plus 12 gigs of Hotspot I think this is a good deal. They wouldn't unlock the phone for me, so that's why I'm stuck with the phone and plan, but overall I think I'm satisfied and glad I went with the A25 over the A15. Good luck with whatever you go with.
Somehow I managed to screw the activation and instead of Samsung phone I received together with a sim card I activated the service with my Pixel 8. Midway through the activation I realized the mistake but it was too late.
I never installed the sim in Pixel during or after the activation. Sim is installed in Samsung now with no issues, I can call/text browse internet.
Any recommendations to avoid the extra charge of $160 for not activating the sim with Boost phone?

Samsung A25
$100 + $150 annual plan = $250
