Just built a 12tb (recertified) for $80 + a sebrant (sp?) case with a large fan on it for an extra $30. So for $110+ tax I got 12TB an a case that can swap drives And has a large fan under it to suck air thru the spaces the rubber mounts propping it off the desk create. Researching drive cases I found comments reminding me that drives need airflow or they are likely to die (or at least throttle) so had to get the large fan one.

Also the fan case top is translucent so I can see what drive I have in it if you handle a Lot of drives only problem may be I can't use ide drives. But I don't think those exist anymore?
