That's frustrating. The Amazon "list price" just appears to be completely made up garbage most of the time. It's like they find the highest price listed out there somewhere, at some point, and use that to display huge discounts for their normal priced stuff. No one is paying Fiskars MSRP on this stuff. It sucks that SD staff and Amazon have the same incentives to mislead people here.

SD staff asked me to post list price that is available on Amazon. Technically it is 38.99 on Friskars site, but I agree - that is wrong price to compare.
For better price comparison I also post price before the sale.

Don't keep Fiskars in the sun for long periods of time. Some models have more plastic on the handles which will oxidize and fade. This particular model is mostly metal.
