Previously, I got the Powergear2 Ultrablade Lopper 28 inch for $15 each.
The 32 inch Powergear2 Ultrablade Lopper were $20. So it's $5 more this time. If they would only ship this thing, $25 is not a bad deal.

Al's description matches the 32in, which is exactly what the Lowe's rep told me (their words, not mine).

I was unsuccessful in getting a price match from Lowes. The person I chatted with said without a model number on the Als page, I'm out of luck. Did actually call Als and considered even getting two but in the end realized it was only store pickup - I'm in VA, not Utah.

I did not see the length, 32", in the Als description. The employee I talked to tried to be helpful but he didn't know the length either. I note that Amazon sometimes screws up the image on the page so wanted more info. It's possible they may correct it, don't know.

Glad you got one though.

I drove over to Lowes. After an initial turn down (model number did not appear on Als page and she said not all stores will be price matched), she had me google fiskars L5532 (the model number). Third item was the Als page with the $24.99 price. She ended up consulting with a couple people by phone and did price match after all. I was grateful.

This thing is somewhat heavy. Only two reviews on the Fiskar's site. One 5 stars, one 2 stars with comments.

Contacted Lowes via chat and called. Wanted to have it shipped; however, both refused the price match because Als.com price is only for store pickup. Perhaps in store they would honor?

Follow up - After trying via chat two more times, I was successful in getting someone that would price match and provide free shipping!

These Power Gears are incredible and have a lifetime warranty. I've had one for over 20 years and should sharpen it but it cuts even with some nicks in the blade. Home Depot has these on sale (here, 22406) for $40.48, which was doubly good: my Lowes was out and the price match wasn't so obscene that they would refuse to honor it. Success!
