Just an FYI these got "recalled" a while back due to not having allergen information. May contain nuts or is processed around nuts. Stay safe y'all!
The recall was for the varieties that were peanut flavored. The ingredients did not indicate peanut, which was the reason for the recall. Although it was a bit silly, when the name of the varieties in question included the word "peanut."

Thanks for that clarification. I honestly didn't read it fully because... exactly...kinda dumb.
If you're not using a refillable pod, get one today. Even the creator of the Keurig regrets the forever pods in the landfills.
I prefer reusing the actual pods. The permanent reusable ones available from Keurig and many others, don't allow me to use as much coffee as I like. Plus some of them need you to keep buying paper filters, whereas the actual pods already have the filters built in.
How do you refill a pod? Do they sell the powder in bulk or something?
Search "refillable K cup" and hundreds will show up. I appreciate the convenience of a K cup, but don't like to spend over $0.25 a piece. Those deals come around every so often. But i do have a few brands of beans or ground coffee that i use the refillable kind. I dump the grounds in the yard. No waste.
That said, the Keurig 2.0 might not like the non Keurig brand reusable cup. Keurig makes their own, and i have one, but it's a bit cumbersome and harder to get the grounds out. There is a hack where you take the QR code off a "certified" Keurig compatible K cup and tape it over the sensor in a 2.0 machine. It won't read the preferred size of the brew, but you can select whatever size you want.
Sad that got a downvote for suggesting a cheaper and more environmentally friendly option that even the creator of the brew system agrees with. 😞

Paper filters are optional, but i see what some folks use them. Pods will never have as much coffee as you can put into a reusable K cup because of the enclosed filter media.
