You're almost better off finding a refurbished Venu or Venu 2, or a preowned S62 since this doesn't have heart rate abilities or virtual caddie. The Venu doesn't either but you're also not spending $200 on a 3 year old watch missing a lot of golf features.

Great deal, just pulled the trigger for one. Been using my Apple Watch and golf app but that wears the battery down significantly. Had an old Garmin watch that was as basic as could be but was great until the band broke. This should definitely be an improvement. Thumbs up!

Love my Garmin golf watch, the distances are close enough for my skill level. The big thing I enjoy over just a range finder is the Garmin app and stat tracking. Too much fun to look at the shots from each hole when I get home and also to check on improvements season to season.. fairways, distances, approach, putting, etc.
I suffered for about two years with my Fenix to a point where charging was a crap shoot if it would work or not. I bought the ones in the link and charging has never worked better, even better than when brand new.

I'm not sure if these share the same charging port as a Fenix, but if so, this charger changed my world for my watch.
