This is true. 60 days without the Apple Store. Also the Apple Store bit isn't guaranteed, but I've yet to see someone say it didn't work.

I guess judging by the lack of momentum behind this thread, no. A few months ago the ultra gen 1 was a front page, hundreds of responses thread at $470. Personally I think this a good deal being slightly over $100 more. And it's from a reputable seller, who offers returns. I think in general becuase there isn't much difference between this and the gen 1, and that people feel in general this is still over priced, this hasn't gotten much attention.
Overall a good deal if you are in the market for a renewed gen 2
Just to make it clear. This item is also refurbished. The Ultra 2 has slightly higher nits and Siri being available on the watch independently. The double tap feature is available on both watches but you would need to enable it on the Ultra 1.
Wish we knew if had blood oxygen
Gen 3 is forthcoming in the fall (usually Sept/Oct).
This puts Gen 2 in kind of a weird spot right now. The added features (slightly brighter in direct sun, slightly faster Siri) aren't really worth the added cost, but YMMV.
You have to take into account the taxes as well for your final price. Based on the final price including discount, I would say it is an ok deal.
