They just updated the drivers to allow proper memory overclocking. Now it performs better than a 3090 ti in many games when overclocked. Pretty impressive for $540

They did just update the drivers to increase the memory overclocking headroom and TechPowerUp has it within 1% of the 3090 Ti in TimeSpy Extreme GT1. I'm guessing that's best case scenario, but it's definitely closer now (and within 5% of the 7900 XT.) It's still going to struggle with any raytracing titles, FSR still isn't as good as DLSS and Frame Gen isn't there yet either (though the 3090 doesn't have that either.)

Not bad for $540 though.

For anyone curious, the card I got has Samsung memory rated for 20 gbs. I haven't tested any clocks yet, though.
