I was browsing instacart and there was a "try instacart+" link in left side bar below the logo (should have taken a screenshot, don't have it now anymore). Thought it was for a week or so trial and clicked on it, and got an offer of $19 for annual membership. YMMV - may be targeted.

I bought it for peacock subscription, don't order much on instacart to justify even the $19 a year membership.

They mean that Costco regularly puts Instacart gift cards on sale and you can usually combine them with coupons for big savings.

It's new members or members who haven't used their account in a long time. I stopped using Instacart after my account was hacked and I requested for them to credit me the charge and got no response after repeatedly contacting them. I had to go to my cc company for them to rectify the situation because IC wouldn't do anything. I logged in the last time they had this $19 deal and since I hadn't used that account in about a year I saw the deal. It's very YMMV.

Costco sells Instacart gift cards for 20% discount. You can buy $200 for $160 and add them to instacart.

For the Chase cashback, you don't need to signup. Just use the Chase card on Instacart and you will receive the cash back within a week after the the transaction posts to your account
