Fair warning- vitamatic does not have a great reputation in the supplement world. And in the case of this product, the labeling is completely wrong! The labels of this product indicate a single capsule has 500mg of magnesium glycinate, providing 150mg of elemental magnesium. But that math doesn't work! Magnesium glycinate is only 14% magnesium by weight, which means the absolute most elemental magnesium (with no room for moisture content, for instance) you could get out of a 500mg pill would be 70mg! Even if the label is just misprinted and the serving size is supposed to be two pills, not one (in which case the 500mg labeling should say 1,000mg), they are still claiming higher magnesium content than is physically possible with magnesium glycinate! So either the pills include some other, unlabeled magnesium source, or they have a product that is conveniently mislabeled in such a way as to make it more attractive to people looking for a supplement with as much magnesium as possible. Either of those two options should give you pause. Notably, I've reached out to vitamatic twice in the past year asking about this exact issue and both times never heard back from the company. I would look elsewhere for your supplements, not worth it to risk a product from a company this sketchy just to save a dollar or two

thanks for your helpful & informed PSA 👏
Also *Vitamatic* sounds like a late-night TV huckster brand from the 70s.

I can't speak for this specific product, but I have used this brand in the past and never had any issues.
