I know I'm getting old when I look at this beautiful set and think it should be about 80 bucks.
Finally, a starter home in my price range.
The original price for this set is outrageous. Still needs to go lower before I'd think about getting it.

Now that the patent protection for lego has expired, more building block manufacturers are getting into the game. Lego will always win at manufacturing tolerances. They designed the machines that make their parts. That said, other companies are getting better. I, almost always encourage competition. So with that said, has anyone tried this one?

It says it's frequently returned items. What I'm not happy about the competition is that the other ones sometimes gives you bricks that are smaller, so they're not compatible with real lego bricks either. Temu and Amazon both are filled with these kinds of products. So honestly I don't like buying them since I don't know if the bricks are the full size

Also... Although I support competition, I don't support plagiarism. They can as easily sell their bricks with other design, like make sets that are not designed by lego yet... Why copy lego sets designs?
