Here are my thoughts:
1. Asus board is better. I had issues with not recognizing nvme and slow boot time with MSI board. The MSI's default voltage is too high and causing high cpu temp, especially with enhanced turbo on. No issues with asus board although you need to get a nvme heatsink since it's not provided with the board.
2. I undervolted both CPUs. Set offset -0.070 and -0.05 and power limited 125w and 120w pl1/pl2 on 12900k and 13700k respectively. 12900k lost about 12% and 13700k lost about 18% in multi thread but the temperatures are <65 c under benchmark and still about 10% faster than 13600k. Gaming temp is around 50-55 c. Overall 13700k runs slightly hotter but still scores better than 12900k in multi thread.
If you are buying for gaming only, just get the 12900k. It's a lot cheaper and the fps is almost the same between these two CPUs.

17% off is a slick deal
I'm still waiting for an actual answer to my question.
Someone who "actually" needs intel will not even ask if they need intel or not because of the compatibility of their main softwares (of course amd doesn't really have tons of bugs after them coming back to mainstream, but still are kinda preferred to intel due to how softwares are programmed), but if theres not so much of difference, 7900x will perform well with almost the same price range and could spend less on cooling (intel tends to run way hotter than amd these days)
Yes. I got the MC bundle with the 7800x3d and paired it with a 7900 GRE GPU. Without OC on the GPU my TimeSpy 3DMark tested at 20,405.

The remodel in OC brought $6 webcams and $50 chrome books iirc.
MC neva let a playa down always hit
Are those processors comparable? 16/24 Intel vs 8/16 AMD. Shouldn't a 5900x be a better comparison
That 400$ bundle was the deal one a century

I do Music Production. CPU is king and the plugins get harder and harder on CPUs. You can easily max out the CPU with certain PlugIns (Effects and Synths/Sounds) so the better the CPU the less problems.
I hope! 😍
