If this product contains lead, it's in the solder joints, just like a lot of electronics. So, don't break them open and eat solder off the wires.

Pulled them out of the box with the ammo I also bought. The water beads have a CA Prop 65 warning that the product may contain lead.
Now my wife is freaking out and does not want to give them to the kids.
Can the water beads really have lead in them or is this a CYA for selling things in California?
Looking at other water bead ammo I have not seen that warning on some of them. Is it only this brand that has that warning?
Thanks
They are made of pure liquidized lead. The dirtiest stuff they could find outta Flint. My kids told me it was the best fun they had while they were alive.

Surge xl is probably better because it has more features like fps modes and maybe 10 more fps, but the ball hopper is also above the gun, so worse aim. Also this is 1/4th the price

Almost everything sold in CA has that warning, it's almost a meme at this point. Nothing to worry about, live your life.
Found one.
I did the same thing today. My boy like this water bead gun. He has even modified the railing and printed attachments.
