About this Offer:
Our research indicates that this deal is $200 less (11.77% savings) than the next best available price from a reputable merchant with prices starting from $1699 at the time of this posting.
The Macbook Air _just_ got the M3 refresh on March 4, 2024. The chances of it getting another refresh anytime soon are very low; the update is only a month old.
The 15" MBA M2 16/1TB is $1499 at BestBuy, vs. the $1499 MBP M3 16/500 here.
I would get this model. Active fan for better performance, far better screen, better audio, faster M3 vs. M2 at same price at BB.
The M3 Air, IMHO, is not price competitive with this discount; to pay MORE for the M3 Air strikes me as silly.
They are legit and are corporate reseller of Apple products and have been posted here multiple times in the past without any complaints.
They're similar to CDW or TigerDirect (when it used to be good), enterprise targeting and sell most of the devices in bulk.
Your heart and soul deserves this laptop. Go for it.

How big is the difference between M3 chip and M3 Pro? My main use case is music production. I use Ableton Live and a lot of soft synths.
For reference, my primary workstation is a Mac Studio with M1 Max 64GB RAM and 2TB SSD and it handles stuff just fine...
This is actually a pretty descent deal. Many people immediately are going to Knock it for not having the M3 Pro chip, which is quite the difference, but because of the Apple cost, this is the same as a MacBook Air with similar specs.
Considering you get a MUCH better screen, promotion, many more ports, for the price of an air? That's pretty descent. (Yes I agree the air with these upgrades is very expensive, I'm just saying, relatively, it's pretty good)
In the midst of a midlife crisis, I'm contemplating treating myself to something nice, especially after two decades of sticking with $400 computers. Financially, it's a move I can afford now. I'm considering making this purchase and would appreciate some advice. I currently use an iPhone 14 Pro. Thank you!

It's a really nice laptop. The screen is extremely nice, especially if you like working from outside! A friend has one, and we can sit in the sun at a cafe and it looks perfectly fine. Also, great for browsing on the beach in a beach chair, if that's your sort of thing to do.

I own one and it's an awesome machine. If you're not a display perfectionist, you may also want to consider the 15" MacBook Air (just make sure to spec it similarly, 16gb and 512 ssd is bare minimum). The air is thinner and has a larger display at the same weight. Check them out side by side somewhere. That said, if you decide to go with the Air I'd wait a bit, a refresh is right around the corner (unless you can get the current gen at a discount).

This is $100 cheaper than my 15" air with same spec
I kept the air cuz it's bigger screen and thinner and I don't need the ports.
